Graham & Bill’s Grilled Cedar-Plank Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 (10-to-12 ounce) salmon fillet
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 8 green peppercorns
  • ¼ cup low sodium tamari
  • ¼ cup olive oil

Directions

  1. Soak cedar planks in water for ½ hour; remove from water; set aside.
  2. Preheat grill to 525°F.
  3. Use mortar and pestle to mash garlic, peppercorns.
  4. Smear garlic, peppercorn paste on salmon; pour tamari, oil over fish; flip it skin up to marinate.
  5. Grill fillets on cedar plank for 12-to-15 minutes.
